Tell us about the game from your point of view
La partita di settimana scorsa è iniziata lentamente per noi, alla prima serie di possessi ho commesso un fumble e la difesa si è trovata in una brutta posizione a causa mia. I miei compagni di squadra, da entrambi i lati della palla, mi hanno coperto le spalle e sono rimasti con me fino alla fine della partita. In attacco abbiamo iniziato a prendere tutto quello che la difesa di Bologna ci ha concesso, limitando gli errori e senza mai perdere la speranza. Alla fine abbiamo vinto grazie a ogni fase del gioco. I nostri special teams stavano andando bene, con Valentino Rotelli che stava facendo dei buoni punt, aiutando così la nostra difesa. La difesa ha tenuto i Warriors a 0 punti nel secondo tempo, e in cambio ha dato all’attacco il momentum di cui aveva bisogno.
Our game last week started off slow for us, on the first series I fumbled, put the defense in a bad spot, and that was on me. My teammates on both sides of the ball, had my back and stuck with me until the end of the game. On offense We started taking what the Bologna defense was giving us, limiting mistakes, and never losing hope. In the end we ended up with the win because of all phases of the game. Our special teams was doing great, with Valentino Rotelli doing great things punting the ball helping our defense out. Defense held the warriors to 0 points in the second half, and in turn gave the offense the momentum we needed.

È stato un lento inizio di gioco, per me e la mia offense. Un ringraziamento va alle nostre linee, ragazzi giovani che si sono fatti avanti per darmi tempo qui dietro e per poter lanciare la palla a diverse persone sul campo e rendendo le cose difficili alla difesa dei warriors. I miei ricevitori hanno preso la palla quando l’ho lanciata nella loro direzione, e non avrei potuto fare ciò che ho fatto senza la mia linea, i miei ricevitori e i running back.
It was a slow start to the game, for me and my offense. The shout out goes to our line, young guys stepped up gave me time back there, and we could spread the ball around to different people on the field, making it hard for the warrior defense. My receivers caught the ball when I threw it their way, and I couldn’t of had the game I had without my line, receivers, and running back. Great pick up blocking by the running backs, line giving me the time back there, and receivers making the plays when they needed to.

Dobbiamo costruire quello che abbiamo iniziato a Bologna e andare avanti. Dobbiamo capire cosa è meglio per noi, e lavorare insieme e permetter all’attacco di funzionare come se fossimo una macchina ben oliata. La difesa è stata grande, se continua a fare ciò che ha fatto, ci porterà avanti per il resto dell’anno. Sono entusiasta di questo team e sono concentrato sul resto della stagione.
We have to build off of what we started in Bologna and move forward. Figure out what we have best going for us, and work together, getting our offense running as a well oiled machine. Defense has been great, if they keep doing what they’re doing, they’ll keep us in games for the whole year. I’m excited for this team and looking forward to the rest of the season.
